JUNIOR MINSTEAD AGM AND PANTOMIME 2018
A further reminder that all parents of children in the village are welcome to come along to the Junior Minstead AGM at 8pm on Wednesday 26th April in the Green Room.
Anyone interested in writing and directing next year’s pantomime will be especially welcome and it would be great if you can bring along a printed synopsis to put to the committee for perusal (several copies would be good!).

A further reminder that there are still some seed potatoes and onion sets available for children to grow and exhibit at this year’s show.
They can be collected from Steve Cattell this coming week.

NFDC TOURISM SERVICE TRANSFERS TO GO NEW FOREST CIC.
Go New Forest is a new “not for profit” Community Interest Company (CIC ) which will now deliver all business and marketing support for local tourism businesses and lead on promoting the New Forest to the domestic and international marketplaces.
From Monday 3 April, New Forest District Council’s (NFDC) Tourism Service, including the Brand New Forest Card Scheme, transferred all of its functions to Go New Forest. These functions include the publication of the Discover New Forest Guide, Official New Forest Map, Visitor Information Panels, operate and manage www.thenewforest.co.uk, and all other destination digital and social media including all press and PR.
Whilst Go New Forest will be fully independent of the District Council, NFDC will provide grant funding to support the start-up of the new CIC in its first 3 years. Go New Forest will work in close partnership with New Forest Tourism Association (NFTA) and all other managing interests, particularly New Forest National Park Authority and the Forestry Commission.
