COUNCILLOR DIANE ANDREWS – A NEW ROLE

Our District Councillor, Diane Andrews, is moving from her current role as Chairman of Planning to a new role on the District Council as a member of the Council’s Cabinet. Diane’s role will cover ‘Community Affairs’, with a brief ranging across areas such as Community Engagement, Community Grants and Support, Customer Services, Elections and Electoral Registration, Community Safety Partnership, CCTV, Careline and Communications. The Cabinet is the key body within the Council for the administration of the Council’s activities and will, in its new format, have eight Councillor members, up from the original 6. We wish Diane all the very best in her exciting and broad ranging new role.
