Copythorne Amateur Theatrical Society
Following the success of last years “Dick and the Big Bad Rat” Copythorne Amateur Theatrical Society have added an extra performance for this year’s production of “Cinderella”.
An original script, directed by Caz Littleton-Gray, this is a modern take on the traditional Cinderella story with all the characters you would expect plus some you might not.
Cinderella’s new Fairy Godmother has to make sure Cinders and Prince Charming marry to save the Kingdom of Copythorne. The trouble is the Prince doesn’t want to get married, the fairy Godmothers evil sister is jealous and doesn’t want there to be a happy ending and Cinderella’s two new “celebrity” stepsisters both want to marry the Prince too. Added to that, two trolls are trying to steal a famous dancing cow and the Chancellor is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Will Cinderella and Prince Charming meet, fall in love and live happily ever after or will it be a “Disaster Darling”.
This year CATS will be joined for the first time by dancers from the Jo Hyne school of Dance who will be adding some extra fairy magic.

Saturday 25th November 2.30 and 7.30pm.
Saturday 2nd December 7.30pm
Sunday 3rd December 2.30pm.
