Click here to report a road problem such as a pothole to Hampshire County Council.  Although the PC does its best to report all dangerous potholes in the Village, the more individual people who report them the sooner something is likely to be done to fix them.  Do try and take a photograph and if you do we suggest you put something next to it, like a bunch of keys, to give an indication of its size and depth.

ROADWORKS

Sometimes the Parish Council is informed by the relevant Authority (e.g. Highways England, HCC) about impending roadworks in our area and will pass this on via the weekly eNewsletter, or via a special email if appropriate and on Facebook.  Other sources of roadworks information can be found by visiting  https://one.network/.

Older residents, or those over five who have specific disabilities, can take advantage of free travel on local buses throughout Hampshire and the rest of England.  Click here for further information.

OTHER TRANSPORT OPTIONS

There are a range of other transport options provided by HCC which can be seen here.  Included amongst them is a bookable taxishare service, the Fritham, Nomansland, Bramshaw, Brook and taxishare Jan 2020. This is a public transport service for anyone who needs to travel from Fritham, part of Nomansland, Bramshaw, Brook and Minstead into Totton. The service is similar to a bus service, except that passengers will need to book in advance and the journey will be operated by a taxi instead of a bus.to Totton which operates on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Click here for further details and the timetable.

BUS SERVICE TO NEW MILTON

Community First operates a “Call and Go” weekly bus service from Lyndhurst to New Milton every Thursday. Given sufficient warning it will be able to collect people from Minstead, though due to its popularity it is very much a question of booking early to avoid disappointment. In the longer term Community First is considering whether to provide a Minstead service to Totton. To find out more, for fares and to make a booking ring 0845 602 4326.
