Silent Auction

Two pictures and a bowl have been donated to All Saints Church Minstead for the express purpose of raising money for the church. We need to replenish the reserves as the repairs to the tower have seriously depleted the funds that maintain the fabric in good repair.
We intend to run a silent auction for these three items, the result will be revealed on Saturday 10th February at the performance of ‘Made in Cornwall’ by Nigel Pascoe in St Michaels and All Angels church Lyndhurst.

The items will be displayed in Minstead Village Shop on Saturday 3rd February between 9 and 12am, and will be at both performances of the play on 9th and 10th February.

If you wish to make an offer you may leave your envelope at the shop or at one of the performances. Your envelope must contain your name, contact number, identification of the item you are bidding for and the amount. Please mark envelope with Silent Auction.

If you wish to view these at any other time please contact Helen Bennett 023 8081 2358.

The bowl is marked with Mason’s patent Firestone, Mandalay, England, and it was donated by the late Veronica Collins.

The pen and ink is entitled :
Little Harbour Mevagissey, pen and ink print on art paper by Peter Sey , Milford on Sea

The painting of Minstead Church is an original watercolour by Gervase A. Gregory, dated Feb 1990. This was donated by Timothy Boulton who once owned and ran the village shop. (There is some discolouration on the picture mount)

There will also be a Raffle at the play and Sylvie Dibben (023 8081 2967) would be most grateful to receive donations of prizes towards this.
