 ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ – A live radio play – 31 January, 1&2 February 2019

Join us for Lyndhurst Drama & Musical Society’s next show when The Vernon Theatre will be transformed into Studio A of radio station WBFR in New York City. The setting is Christmas Eve 1946 and you will watch a live recording of It’s a Wonderful Life complete with on stage sound effects and a cast providing multiple characterisations.

The story revolves around George Bailey, an idealistic dreamer, who lives in Bedford Falls. His life is unravelling on Christmas Eve. He decides it would have been better if he had never been born until Clarence Odbody, his guardian angel, arrives. Clarence shows George what that would have meant for the people whose lives he has touched.

This evergreen Christmas classic is given a touch of Lyndhurst Drama sparkle with curtain up at 7.45 on Thursday 31 January (tickets £8), Friday 1 and Saturday 2 February 2019 (tickets £9).
