MINSTEAD MAIL

The June 2019 edition of Minstead Mail will be delivered to all households in hard copy this coming week.  If you simply can’t wait you can read it now on the Village website by clicking HERE!

MINSTEAD EMERGENCY PLAN

As announced in Minstead Mail (when you get it!) the Village Emergency Plan, otherwise known as the Community Resilience Plan, can now be seen on the Village website by clicking HERE.  The aim of this plan is to help the parishioners of Minstead support themselves when faced with an emergency situation within the village. It should also provide important information to the emergency services regarding the ongoing situation and the requirements of the village.   Many thanks to Councillor Helen Bennett and Dawne Wakelin for all their hard work in putting this plan together.

A31 MINSTEAD CATTLE GRID IMPROVEMENTS

Many will already have received a letter from Highways England stating that Kier Highways will be carrying out work to bring the current cattle grid located off the A31 up to current specification.  Work is expected to start on Monday 1st July and will take place over 5 days.  Lyndhurst Road will be closed between the A31 and Seamans Corner which means no access to and from the A31 westbound at the Seamans lane junction.  Signed diversion routes will be in place.

MINSTEAD TRUST SUMMER FETE

11am – 2.30pm Saturday 22 June

Next Saturday is Fete Day at Minstead Trust. Come along, join us and help raise money to support the work of Minstead Trust. The Fete will have all the usual fete stalls such as tombola, coconut shy and children’s games. There will also be live music and performances from some of our students.
