There will be carols, mince pies and a festive tipple outside The Trusty from 6pm……and possibly even some presents!
(Parents please hand in clearly labelled presents to the Trusty by midday Sat 23rd and try and keep the value under £5)
This will be followed by a performance of the ancient Minstead Mummers play
(see below not to be missed!)

Father Christmas’ exact arrival time will depend on reindeer flying performance and snow conditions on the day but we are assured he will be with us at approximately 6.30pm.
THE MINSTEAD MUMMERS NEED YOU!
The Ancient Minstead Mummers’ Play is being dusted down again, ready for Saturday 23rd December. It’s about 10 minutes long and is performed on the Village Green, then in local pubs. Home grown and informal; no one has too much too say and it’s great fun. Traditional costumes are provided. A short rehearsal will take place at the Mellershes in London Minstead at 5pm on the 23rd. You’ll be welcome to join in; no experience needed! Please contact Nick and Jeanie Mellersh on 02380 812651 nandjmellersh@yahoo.co.uk“
