DEVOLUTION – SERVING HAMPSHIRE

As previously mentioned, Hampshire County Council launched ‘Serving Hampshire’ asking for views on different ways that the County Council and the 11 district councils in Hampshire could change, or be reorganised. This is a response from the County Council to the long running debate on possible devolution for Hampshire and Isle of Wight. The consultation is being undertaken alone by the County Council and not in partnership with any of the District Councils in Hampshire. The consultation, which asks for opinions on options including doing away with all 11 district and borough councils and replacing them with one all-purpose unitary, can be found using the link Hampshire consultation. It runs until 20 September 2016 and anyone can comment.

 FUNGI PICKING
