CONSIDERATE DRIVING

Some of our parishioners are worried about the speed at which some agricultural vehicles are driven around the Village, particularly when they are waiting for school buses with small children.  This is especially relevant at the moment with the hay/silage season in full swing.  Tractors often have large implements or trailers attached and time is always pressing.  Even at speeds up to 30mph they can be quite scary, especially for small children.

All drivers of large agricultural machinery are asked to be considerate in this respect.  Anyone contracting someone using agricultural machinery is asked to pass on this message.

MINSTEAD OIL

The next date for receipt of orders through Minstead Oil is 9am this Wednesday 15th July.

Orders will be accepted as firm unless stated otherwise with your request.

This is an early plea for help putting up the various tents, gazebos, stands etc on the day from 9.30am, and also for taking everything down from about 4pm.

Also, do tell him if you are prepared to help out during the day on a stall or with one of the games.
