RUFUS STONE Road TEMPORARY CLOSURE for RESURFACING
As part of the programme of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience, we will be undertaking carriageway resurfacing works at 3 locations along Rufus Stone Road (road from A31 to Brook via Canterton) from the junction with the A31 to the junction with Lyndhurst Road/Roger Penny Way.
The works are programmed to start on Wednesday 25 February 2015 and are expected to last for 2 nights.
In order to undertake the works safely, it will be necessary to close the road, whilst the works are taking place. Therefore working hours have been restricted to 2200-0600hrs. As part of the diversion route is on the Highways Agency network we are only permitted to carry out the works at night.
Information signs advising road users of the works will be erected before the start of works.
A letter will be sent to local residents and an e-mail will be sent to Bramshaw Parish Council and Minstead Parish Council to advise them accordingly.
Should you have any questions or require further information please contact the Operation Resilience team on 01962 813063 or email operation.resilience@hants.gov.uk
