ATTEMPTED NON DWELLING BURGLARY
Opportunist thieves have been in the area again and were disturbed at Stoney Cross attempting to steal from outbuildings last Friday morning at 5 am. The Police have been informed. No description possible but it followed a very similar pattern to a theft a couple of years ago. Please keep an eye open and ring 101 if you see anything or anyone suspicious.
With the evenings drawing in all are advised to make sure that their outbuildings and sheds are locked securely.
The latest edition of Minstead Mail is now being distributed in hard copy to all households in the parish. It is primarily for those who do not use the internet as most of the information it contains has been included in the weekly eNewsletters or the village community website.

A NOTE FROM THE SHOP
“Hello, it’s more like a lack of a note really as I just wanted to let you know that the cash machine is going to be removed at some point. It is totally the firm’s decision, not mine, and the reason given is lack of use. I apologise to everyone who uses the facility. I am looking into finding a replacement, preferably a non charging arrangement and will do my best, however new non charging arrangements are not as available as they were.
Apologies again and thank you to everyone for your support.
