ANNUAL LITTER PICK
Very many thanks to everyone who participated in clearing litter from our roads.
Everywhere looks a lot better than it did – long may it remain so!
And thank you also to all those who clear litter at other times of the year – your efforts are much appreciated!
If you have any equipment to return please drop it off with our Clerk, Polly Osborne at Curtle Cottage, Lyndhurst Road (leave in car port).
BEAT SURGERY AND BEAT REPORT
The next Beat Surgery will be at the Village Shop next Saturday 8th April at 10am. This is an excellent opportunity to meet our local police and discuss with them anything that concerns you.
A number of local issues are mentioned in the Beat Report March 2017 which is well worth reading. It includes advice on security for your property and crime prevention in rural areas particularly on how to make your car less of a target for thieves.

ALL SAINTS CHURCH
URGENT – APPEAL FOR SUPPORT FOR OUR CHURCH’S GRANT APPLICATION
Please read ALL SAINTS CHURCH GRANT APPEAL APRIL 2017 about our church’s application for a grant to help pay for essential repair and maintenance work.
The success of this application depends very much on strong community support
and our Churchwardens are requesting that as many people as possible to write asking that the application be granted.
The ways to do this are explained in the attachment and the deadline for doing so is 7th April.
IF YOU LOVE OUR CHURCH, FOR WHATEVER REASON, PLEASE HELP THIS APPEAL.
For services and events see All Saints Notices 2nd April 2017 and visit the New Forest Parishes website.
JUNIOR MINSTEAD PANTOMIME 2018
There have been several villagers who have shown an interest in having a go, who don’t necessarily have a connection with Junior Minstead………following this year’s performance!!
For all those interested in writing and directing the next village pantomime you probably know Jo Vardy is stepping down as writer and director of the pantomime for a while, so thinking ahead to 2018, we are asking anyone who is interested in stepping up, that you attend the AGM in the Green Room at 8pm on the 26th April 2017 with a printed synopsis to put to the committee for perusal, several copies would be good.
We look forward to seeing you there!!
ANNUAL FLOWER FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SHOW 2ND SEPTEMBER 2017
There are still some seed potatoes and onion sets available for children to grow and exhibit at this year’s show.
Please collect from Steve Cattell after 9th April.
