 HUGO – LATEST BULLETIN!

Despite various appetising temptations, Hugo the friendly feral cat is still missing.  However he was sighted on Thursday in the neighbourhood so please keep an eye open for him (large, black and white, with a black ‘tash’ just under his chin, likes living in trees).

If you see him please contact Sylvie on Tel: 023 8081 2967, Mob: 07836 345999 or email sylvia@dibben.net as she would really like to have him back and he is assured of a warm welcome.

VEHICLE DAMAGE CAUSED BY POTHOLES AND ERODED ROAD EDGES

Progress in repairing potholes and road edges has been disappointing and the Parish Council continues to press HCC for an improved response.

It is possible to claim for damage to your vehicle caused by potholes or eroded edges.

HAMPSHIRE ALERT

The following message was received recently from Hampshire Alert, amongst others:

On Sunday 10th May several bush fires appear to have been set deliberately causing small fires which Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished.  Locations include Ocknell and Milkham.  We are concerned that we will experience reckless and mindless arson attacks as seen in Dorset and South Wales over the past few months.  Thankfully the ground has been damp on these occasions.  If you see any suspicious activity or persons starting fires in the New Forest please call the Police on 101 or in an emergency the Fire Service on 999.
By working together lets stamp out deliberate and mindless forest fires.

To keep up to date with incidents in the locality sign up to Hampshire Alert by visiting https://www.hampshirealert.co.uk/

BEAT SURGERY

The next Beat Surgery will be at 6pm in the Old Surgery at the Village Hall this Wednesday 21st May.  This is an excellent opportunity for anyone to come along and meet our local police officers and discuss any issues of concern with them informally.
