HOW WE USED TO LIVE WEDNESDAY 7th OCTOBER

Dr Adam Chapman: Victoria County History Project

7.30pm in Bank and Emery Down Village Hall; refreshments available.

Entry at the door: £3.
If you are interested in discovering more about where you live a good start
is to Google Victoria County History site.  You know the facts are correct,
relevant and locally sourced.  The Victoria County History project is being
updated to bring you the story to the present day.  We are pleased that Dr
Adam Chapman has agreed to come and tell us about this exciting project and
the sort of information they would like to include.  It is a chance for you
to discover how he finds the true facts and stories about how we used to
live!  The VCH for today is written by historians working in counties across
England and is without doubt the greatest publishing project in English
local history.  A local project group might be based at the New Forest
Centre and Reference Library.
