 MORE ROAD WORKS!

As part of the programme of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience HCC will shortly be undertaking drainage works on Lyndhurst Road from Shovel Cottage to Ivy Cottage. The works are programmed to start on Monday 6th June 2016 and are expected to last for approximately 5 weeks. In order to undertake the works safely, it will be necessary to close the road 24hrs a day in sections along the road.

Information signs advising road users of the works will be erected before the start of works. An email will be sent to New Forest District Council and Minstead Parish Council to advise them accordingly.

Should you have any questions or require further information please contact the Operation Resilience team on 01962 813063 or email operation.resilience@hants.gov.uk

SUPERFAST BROADBAND – TELL US WHAT YOU THINK!

A further request to ask if you have you successfully upgraded or attempted to upgrade to the new Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC) broadband service in Minstead.  If so the Parish Council is interested in getting your views on it. The data will be used to drive our ongoing ambitions to improve broadband in the Parish.  We’ve created a very short online survey to allow you to express your experience good or bad and if you have not already done so please go to: http://test.minstead.org.uk/broadband/fttc-broadband-survey-experience-fttc-fibre-cabinet or click here.

LYNDHURST CATHOLIC CHURCH 6TH ANNUAL PLANT SALE

The team organising this year’s Plant and Cake Sale would like to thank all those who braved the wet to come our Plant Sale last Saturday.  You were so generous in your support.  Ninety per cent of the plants were sold and of course all the cakes!  Attendance was up on last year and we raise the record sum of £2,419 which will go towards CAFOD’s work in Ethiopia.  The team are already planning next year’s event which will be on Saturday 13th May 2017 when the sun will be shining! Thank you so much.

Best wishes Henry and Nuala Rosenvinge
