HOW WE USED TO LIVE WEDNESDAY 18 NOVEMBER

7.30pm in Bank and Emery Down Village Hall

General Sir Paul Newton: Lions Led By Donkeys –
Myths and the First World War.
Lions Led by Donkeys is a phrase popularly used to describe the British
infantry of World War I and to blame the generals who led them.  This thesis
forms the backdrop to this talk as we struggle still to make sense of an
upheaval that left an indelible mark, not least on our community here in the
Forest.

Refreshments available; entrance £3 on the door.
