FLOWER SHOW SOCIETY AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Minstead Flower Show Society will be on Tuesday, 2nd December, in the Green Room at the Hall commencing 8p.m.
We try not to make the business too arduous so that we can enjoy some snacks and a drink together after the event. Please come along and air your views, we always welcome suggestions for new classes and anything else that you might think will improve on what appears to be a very successful event.
Wednesday 3rd December 9.30-10.30am at the Village Shop
Come along and meet our local police officers and discuss any issues of concern with them informally.
We are starting to prepare the next edition of Minstead Mail which it is hoped will be printed and distributed to all households in the civil parish in early January. It is intended to include future village events up to and including Easter (5th April 2015)
If you have any contributions please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org or give them to any Parish Councillor or the Parish Clerk.
December oil requests (email@example.com) must be made by 9am on Wednesday 3rd December so that delivery can be assured by Christmas. Please indicate with your request if you are prepared to accept the best price Mike Hutton can get. He will be sending a separate message giving order dates for 2015 but January’s orders must be placed by 9am on Wednesday 14th January 2015.

DEER MAULED IN SCHOOL LANE
Between the morning of Weds 26th and Thurs 27th Nov it seems a deer may have been mauled in one of the fields off School Lane, Minstead. Pieces of hide and hair were found in the field concerned on Thursday morning though the landowner was unable to find an injured animal. If you are walking your dog please ensure that you know where it is at all times, that it will come when called and don’t let it stray onto neighbours’ land.
