MINSTEAD OIL

Oil orders for September should reach minsteadoil@gmail.com before 9am on Wednesday 18th September with the expectation that delivery should be before the end of the month.

Subsequent order dates are October 16th, November 13th and December 4th.

Mike will send out a list of dates for 2020 when he has next year’s diary in front of him but the first is likely to be a Wednesday in the first half of January.

A further reminder to those who remember Malcolm McCarraher that a Service will be held in his memory at midday on Saturday 2nd November in Minstead Church.  Please let Janet know if you would like to join in the service and afterwards to meet in the Village Hall for lunch by emailing her at eugeniemcc@gmail.com so she can get a rough idea of numbers from the Village for catering.

MINSTEAD COMMUNITY SHOP SHARES ISSUE

A nice upturn in pledges this week, just need them to turn into contributions in the next two weeks!  4 new members this week, we have now got 19 members.  If you are thinking about buying some shares please act now, we are still £17,000 short of our target.

 NEW FOREST FICTION: PAST & PRESENT

An exclusive evening elaborating the best fictional authors who have used the New Forest for their inspiration and setting – present will be authors Edward Rutherford, Sally Marsh, Clara McKenna.  Also a look at older classics such as The Children of the New Forest and the lives of their authors.

 NEW MILTON NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN – CONSULTATION

 New Forest District Council and New Forest National Park Authority are formally consulting on the draft New Milton Neighbourhood Plan which has been submitted to both the Authority and Council (as the designated Neighbourhood Area includes land within both administrative areas). This is the formal Regulation 16 consultation stage. The consultation commences on Monday 9 September 2019 and responses must be received no later than 10am on Monday 21 October 2019. From Monday 9 September the draft New Milton Neighbourhood Plan, Consultation Statement, Basic Conditions Statement and other supporting information can be viewed on the New Forest District Council website at http://www.newforest.gov.uk/newmiltonneighbourhoodplan. They can also be viewed at http://www.newmiltonplan.org.uk/submission/evidence.html.
